Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. He has a very tight haircut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.
