History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Ideals: Entrepeneur. Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Family, Job, Adventurer. Occupation: Detective
