History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Theodoric alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
