Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a greatsword on his belt. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Description: 6'0" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He dresses well, wearing violet shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: An older man who wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his shortspear with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is long and brown with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are green.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His ears are large.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: He was born in the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Expand his business; and he is greedy

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Henry hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Henry alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
