Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Charles is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Anselm is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. He became a Tanner soon after.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is a Ploughman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and money/treasure
