History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: He is lean but muscular and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Guy was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
