History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Thomas has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
