History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kyle embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Kyle lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and doesn't want to be a herbalist and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
