Everard Riley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and red, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries with him a set of maces, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Everard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Everard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personal [hide]
Description: He prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'6" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His ears are large.
Personality: Richard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Richard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Richard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Richard fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
