History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
