History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: Frederick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Simon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He got into the Fisher business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and balancing his hectic life and new fisher responsibilities is difficult
