Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Frederick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Mercenary soon after.

Description: He wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Adelard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and sabotage a competitor
