History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Nicholas was born with his father's beautiful face. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and sabotage a competitor

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Alexandre alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
