History: Born in the north to a Hunter, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Justin was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Shane speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Shane is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
