History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up work as a Bookbinder and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a brown tunic with blue highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around his shoes. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Justin was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
