History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears bulky blue painted plate armor. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Lewis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. Lewis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Guy was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Fletcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fletcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Fletcher job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and sabotage a competitor
