History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Locksmith for the past few years.

He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.
