Personality: He is fixated on the number 56. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Randal was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
