History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Weaver, but he was a colossal failure. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: He is a husky man, who is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Miles was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To be a Beggar again; and expand his business

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure.
