Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Miles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to pay off his debts
