History: Theobald was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Theobald alone in the world. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
