History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to unite with his brother

He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed pastel hat.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Hubert was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Doctor. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
