Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His first spouse was a Banker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
