Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Jocelyn was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
