Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Richard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Merchant. Recently the stress of being a Merchant has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Carter. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Carter business.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Gilbert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
