History: Kody hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His childhood dream was to be a Spice Merchant, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Kyle is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Kyle was born the youngest of three triplets. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and someone believes him a fraud
