History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This man wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. William was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a quarterstaff, but if one is not available he will default to his scythe. He has wavy chestnut hair. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bernard's homeland. Bernard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
