Jocelyn Acton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears long strands of opal and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personal [hide]
Description: This man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on his left hand. His red hair is lengthy. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his top grey hat.
Personality: Frederick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Frederick abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to get a good night's sleep

John Kelsey, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He stands about 6'6" and wears dull black sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: John was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and revenge

Simon Nibley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He usually wears his blue robe and has his warhammer always slung over his shoulder. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly warhammers and halberds. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Simon was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Simon decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After months of barely getting by, Simon managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
Motivation: Money/treasure.
