Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Aldous was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shield, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Ralf was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Nicholas was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is greedy.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
