History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
