History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Odo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region.
