History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
