History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
