History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is thinning but still full. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his feathered black hat.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Gerald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
