History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light blue in addition to tight pants. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
