History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Everard was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and seeks redemption

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the west to a Laborer, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
