History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his father's many stories. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gilbert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gilbert. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Everard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Everard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shepherd, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
