Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His white hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: This man stands a little under 6'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Gerard was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears bulky pastel painted plate armor. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the left. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Robert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bookbinder business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Lance is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
