History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Being a Roofer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
