Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull black iron scale mail. His golden hair is knotted and matted. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: Anselm speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Description: He stands about 6'6" and tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This man is very fat, and usually wears his white robe and has his crossbow always slung over his shoulder. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: John was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young John began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.
