History: Jocelyn was born with his father's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Gomory was born the youngest of three triplets. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gomory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Frederick's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. After coming to the age of reason, Frederick took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stylist. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
