Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Dustin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. Cory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cory studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
