History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His white hair is cut short. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: Roland wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Thomas was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thomas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Bather.
