Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He is physically well-built. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His silver hair is knotted and matted. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Trym was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This man stands a little under 6'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is typically in his Shepherd uniform. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His ears are large.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Shepherd soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a miller again

Description: This younger middle-aged man is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away
