History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Engraver. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: Balimaar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
