Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: He usually wears his black robe and has his kukri always slung over his shoulder, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'11" when asserting himself. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gomory was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Scribe. A true patriot, Manfred would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor
