History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by drow. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
