History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Lance lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Lance was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sage. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aldous was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Anthony is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Thomas has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.
