History: Adelard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: 6'5" and muscular, this eastern man wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a bastard sword on his belt. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length red hair. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

His black hair is braided into rings. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mortician who has hired him part-time. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Painter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to get a good night's sleep
