History: Trey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. He struck the Ruler job and began his own company from there.
